Working with the views

Transmittal Manager uses different views to show the existing transmittals in various states of progress: Drafts, Sent items, and Archive.

You can manipulate each of the views in the same ways:

Refresh the view

Press F5 or click the Refresh toolbutton . This is required to show initial data in the Archive view for optimum performance.

Print the view

Click the Print toolbutton .

Export the view data

Click the Export to Excel toolbutton .

Change the order of the columns

Drag a column to the desired location.

Resize a column to fit the data

Double-click the column header’s right border.

Sort the rows

Click the header of the column upon which you want the data sorted. Press and hold the Shift key while clicking additional headers to sort by additional columns.

Group the rows

Drag the header of the column upon which you want to group the data to the bar that reads Drag a column header here to group by that column. Rows may be grouped by more than one column.

Filter the rows

Click the filter button in the header of the column upon which you want to filter the data. A list of predefined filters and the existing values for that column appears. Select an existing filter or value or select Custom to define your own filter.

Restore the filtering, grouping, sorting, and order of columns to their defaults.

Click the Reset Layout toolbutton.
